1) You no longer need to choose between the “top wire” and the “thru hull wire” when ordering. The new versions are universal in this respect. The power exits the back center of every light. Should you want to run the wire through your hull it’s a straight shot. If you want to run the wire up the transom there is a groove to allow this. This groove runs in all four directions so you can run the wire out the top, sides or bottom. And this decision can be made during installation instead of during ordering.

2) The case has a slightly more rounded look and has the model name stamped on the front. The case is nearly the exact same size as the prior model. In fact the “S” (single) and “DL” (double long) will mount in the exact same screw holes as the prior models. The “DS” (double square) is slightly longer by about ¼”.

3) The lights are now available in white and black housings.

4) The lights come with the same low price which includes shipping to the 48 continental United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

5) And as with all my products they come with my no hassle one year replacement warranty.

STYLES AND OPTIONS

On our order page, you simply click your case/housing color, the size/shape, and the light output color desired that best fits your application. For comparison, a pair of our DS or DL lights have a comparable light output to a 85W Halogen bulb on a 110VAC power supply producing approximately 500,000 Candlepower!

The last option is the decision that you make upon mounting the lights on your boat. The wires can either exit the back, requiring you to drill a 1/4" hole in your transom and seal the light to the hull, or you can have the wiring exit the top, bottom, or either side. This requires you to route the wiring up and over the transom instead of drilling a hole in the hull.
